All about the Via Ferrata in Georgia
Transfer from Kutaisi (Tbilisi or Batumi) to Sveri at 09:00. Village Sveri is in Chiatura region and 75 km away from Kutaisi. It takes 2-hour to reach the destination. Firstly, on the way to Sveri we will see Katskhi Pillar, natural limestone monolith located at the village of Katskhi.


At starting place you will have an instruction (how to move on iron ladder and clip carabiners in the cable, etc.). After that, we will walk to Via Ferrata site, a 20-minute walk from the camp. Tour lasts 2-2,5 hour and in this tour with experienced instructors you will get a positive feelings and huge amount of adrenaline. On the way to Via Ferrata, you will also enter in and out several short distance caves in rocks.
Additional service (Doesn’t include in price): After the active day you can have a picnic in the barbeques zone of the camp with local Imeretian food: Jonjoli, Ekala, Imeretian cheese, bread, Khachapuri and homemade lemonade.
We can also organize dinner and culinary masterclasses with local wine and Imeretian dishes in Upper Imereti (Additional service).
Transfer back to the Kutaisi hotel. You will be back in Kutaisi about 19:00-20:00.
